Return & Refund Policy

Refund policy

 

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@blhomedecor.com.

 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds will be available in the case of major faults/defects as per Australian Consumer Law.

We don't have to give you a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind.

Note: You will need to cover the cost of return postage.


We will let you know once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

 

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. It will usually take 1-5 working days for PayPal ; 7-14 working days for Card Payment.

Condition of returned items policy

​

If the you return an item, it should be returned in the same condition in which it was received, and it should include all items that were in the original package.

​

If the returned item is used, damaged, missing any parts, or is damaged in transit because it wasn't packaged correctly when you sent it back, we might deduct from the refund to cover the amount of loss.

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

​

If you notice that an item is damaged after it has been delivered to you, please take photos or video clearly showing the damage and contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 business days of receiving your delivery.

​

The type of remedy we offer will depend upon the circumstances. We will work collaboratively with you to find an outcome that you're happy with. For example, we may arrange to:

  • Suggest a self-repair (with an offer of compensation to you)

  • Offer a partial or full store credit voucher or refund

  • Replace the product (subject to availability)

  • Arrange for the product to be returned to us

If we require you to return the product to us, we will pay the cost of the return.

 

Exchanges


Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges. Simply return your items in accordance with our returns policy and place a new order.

COVID-19 impacts on delivery

As per Auspost, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a major surge in parcel deliveries, as well as causing disruptions to their delivery operations.​ Therefore, some parcel deliveries may be delayed.

​

We are trying our best to push our suppliers and couriers to mitigate any inconvenience caused.

Shipping Policy

Next day dispatch

Once you placed your orders, you will receive a confirmation from us via email. Then we will try our best to ship out the orders are usually shipped out within 24 hours.

We partner with quality global suppliers and aim to have your order to you as soon as possible. Our products ship from within Australia and overseas, depending on the product. You can contact us to find out more about the shipping of your product.

Shipping

​

We partnered with Auspost and Fastway Couriers, they are well-known and reliable carriers in Australia.

​

Shipping can take anywhere between 7-45 days both Australia-wide and overseas, although most times it is between 10 - 15 business days.

Order Tracking

​

After your order has been dispatched a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided, with a tracking number. You can track the shipping status of your order at the respective carriers website.

Cancellation or Change

​

It may be possible for you to cancel or change your order if your order has not started the packing process in our warehouse. Please contact us via our chat or email us at support@blhomedecor.com and if cancellation or change remains possible, we will assist you.

Delivery

Delivery Fees

​

We currently offer Free Delivery Worldwide.

​

Delivery fees and times will depend on different products and are calculated based on the size and weight of your order and its delivery address.

 

The delivery fee will be shown at the checkout process.

 

Any changes made to delivery address or delivery time after placing an order may incur additional charges, which we will request you to add to your original delivery charge.

Delivery Methods

​

Delivery is to a ground floor; if the delivery is in a multi-story building the delivery company will not travel past the ground floor front door.

​

We do not deliver to PO boxes or Parcel Lockers.

​

Most of our goods are delivered by courier directly to your door and require a signature upon delivery. Our delivery partner may leave a card at the address and you will need to pick up the delivery from an Australia Post outlet or contact the courier company to arrange for redelivery.

​

Delivery Failure 

 

Please ensure your information is correct. If the address provided is incorrect and the package is returned, we will bill you for the additional shipping charges.

​

You will need to provide a contact number to us so that the courier can arrange the delivery. If we and our delivery partner have been unable to deliver your order due to your error or fault, we reserve the right to cancel your order. In these circumstances we will refund you the price of your order, less the delivery and handling fees incurred by us.

​

Overseas delivery

 

BL Home Decor will not bear any customs and other charges associated with the importation of goods with your orders. It will be paid by you.
